Project Summary
The Canal Sugar Project is one of the largest and most comprehensive installations executed by our team, encompassing the supply, installation, and commissioning of a complete firefighting and fire alarm system. This project was designed to ensure maximum fire protection and operational safety across the plant’s extensive industrial and processing facilities.
Key Items used in this project
- Fire pumps (diesel and electric)
- Stainless steel firefighting network
- Zone control stations
- Fire hose cabinets and hydrants
- Sprinklers and spray nozzles
- Deluge valves and foam bladder tanks
- FM200 suppression systems
- Addressable fire alarm control panel with GUI and server
- Smoke, heat, and flame detectors
- Manual call points and sounder beacons
- Fire-resistant cables
- Pneumatic control and electrical devices
Our work included the implementation of a stainless steel firefighting network, selected for its high corrosion resistance and reliability in industrial environments. The system was supported by fire pumps, zone control stations, and a well-distributed network of hydrants, hose cabinets, and sprinklers covering all production areas. Deluge and foam systems were integrated for high-risk zones, offering rapid response and suppression capabilities.
In addition, FM200 suppression systems were installed in control and electrical rooms, providing clean-agent fire protection for sensitive equipment. The fire alarm system featured a fully addressable FACP with GUI and server, integrated with advanced smoke, heat, and flame detectors, ensuring precise monitoring and control.
The project also involved the installation of pneumatic control equipment and electrical interfaces to synchronize system operation and enhance safety automation. All systems were interconnected using fire-resistant cabling, guaranteeing system integrity and reliability under critical conditions.
Through this project, our team demonstrated its expertise in handling large-scale industrial fire protection works, combining mechanical, electrical, and control systems into a fully integrated safety network that meets the highest international standards.
